Chelsea Komlo is currently working in a dual position at at the University of Waterloo with Dr. Ian Goldberg and Dr. Douglas Stebila in the Cryptography, Security, and Privacy Lab, and at the Zcash Foundation as a principal technical advisor and researcher. Her past and current work includes efficient secret-sharing and threshold signature schemes, post-quantum cryptographic primitives for to secure messaging protocols, and distributed low-latency cryptography protocols. She is also a member of the Tor board of directors and the Tor Research Safety Board.
Previously, she worked at ThoughtWorks and HashiCorp, designing cryptography and distributed systems protocols and contributing to open-source technology.
